Abstarct: The increasing development of electronic power converters to use the appropriate form of electrical energy has made it one of the objectives of researchers to focus on improving the performance of equipment in terms of reducing losses and increasing efficiency in the direction of their development. In other words, increasing the switching speed of converters has caused interference that violates electromagnetic compatibility issues. On the other hand, the placement of semiconductors on heatsinks in order to disperse heat also causes electromagnetic radiation to the surrounding environment. Therefore, this part of the heatsink was investigated by accepting the unintended role of the antenna as the main challenge of this research. For this purpose, by checking the scattering parameter in the direction of the state of the heatsink antenna in the simulation environment with the help of CST software, and by checking the conditions, during the experiment in the measurement stage, this important study was done. The studies were carried out in five stages, with the aim of achieving a proper situation in which the resonant frequency of the heatsink can be changed by changing the geometry and location of the sources on this mextal structure. baxsed on the simulation and laboratory results obtained from the individual steps of this research, the heatsink, which has a favourable thermal condition from the point of view of area, while reducing the antenna range, achieved the resonance frequency shift in the designed structure. Therefore, taking this into account, design engineers can provide more and better EMC issues with the optimal performance of equipment and increase its useful life in various industries.
